I always thought of this song as kind of having two choruses; the "higher and

higher" part, and then

the "that's what dreams are made of" part. But the intro is essentially the

same part/chord progression

as the 2nd 'chorus', so to avoid confusion I have called that the |A|

section, then that will repeat

later with vocals (also used for Solo II).

Eddie Van Halen uses a lot of different triads played against different bass

notes to create various
