So, have you tried to play this song and nothing seems to sound quite right?
This song is tuned to a pitch close to A 430 OR in other words its all about
40 cents flat.
On top of that, I'm pretty sure we've got a multi-tibred and or polyphonic
synth lead/bass which itself is
'detuned' to create a certain sound resulting in a wider pitch base. In other
words this song is 'flat'
compared to most western music and it also is not what I would call being
made up from "pure" tones.
Two options to get around this.
Option 1 (maybe the easier option for some) download audacity or use some
other audio software that can
change the pitch of the original song's audio file (increasing the pitch
about 40 cents or about 10Hz)
Option 2- if your tuner is advanced enough (or if youre playing on a keyboard
or synth) you can tune your
instrument down by about 40 cents or 10 Hz.
These methods should absolutely make the song playable and enjoyable but
there is still the 'detuning'
of the original song's synth voices to account for. Not much you can do about
this with guitar unless you're
familiar with processing.
If you are good with synthesis or want to look up how to 'detune' two
oscillators on your synth you can play
with it until you get it closer.
This song hits the neurotransmitters just so, and I'm sure I'll be sick of it
in a week, but for all of you
