How to play the verse:
Use you index fingers to barré on the E and A string, using your pinky to hit
the note on the D string
then slide up to D* holding the same shape, then you add your ring finger on
the A string and go back.
For the strumming:
Bob plays arpeggios and he actually doesn't play the E string on the C* and
D* at all,
but since it is better to strum the whole chords for simplicity, you can
leave the finger on it,
so you're in position for the returning A* and G* chords, strumming the whole
chords
emphasizing the open string on the 3rd beat of the quarter.
